Discover the magic of kiln carving in this hands-on fused glass class! Students will design and create dimensional glass pieces using fiber paper to form a relief mold, then layering and firing glass to capture intricate textures and depth. This process allows you to achieve beautifully sculpted surfaces, organic patterns, and striking light effects. Perfect for beginners and experienced glass artists alike, this class explores creative design, safe kiln practices, and finishing techniques to complete a one-of-a-kind artwork.. All materials are included in this workshop, and is suitable for all levels, beginners welcome! We will be making several small sample pieces that can be used in later fused glass or stained glass projects. Projects will be ready to pick up during the following week. 3 hours. $75

To cancel or reschedule please contact us 7 days before the class. We will work to find someone to fill your spot, and if we can fill your spot, you will receive a full refund. If you have to cancel later than 7 days, and we cannot fill your spot your class costs are non-refundable. We understand emergencies happen and will work with you if possible. Please let me know if you would like to be on a waitlist, or if you are having technical difficulties. Work not picked up after 6 months will become property of the studio, unless prior arrangements are made.
