Service Description
Unleash your creativity and join us at MeetingHouse Arts (note location change) for a Hearts workshop. This workshop is perfect for all levels and will offer two different ways to make fused glass hearts. Your hearts will be ready for framing or hanging, to display or to give to your Valentine! Will will be using stringers and frit, to build layers of glass. Come join us and discover the joy of working with glass. Basic cutting, and fusing techniques and display options will be covered. Class includes all material needed. One frame will be provided. Second frames can be purchased if wanted. Hearts made may not be like those picture. The hearts will be available to be picked up the following week. A portion of this class will be donated to Meetinghouse Arts. Meetinghouse Arts is located at 40 Main Street, Freeport Maine.
Cancellation Policy
Please read these policies before booking. Registering for a class means you agree to them. Refunds/Cancelations: - 7 full days before class: full refund, or transfer to another class date at no charge. - Less than 7 full days before class: Unfortunately, at this point is it hard to fill seats last minute and no refund/credit will be given unless we can fill your spot from someone on the waitlist. We understand emergencies arise and we will try to work with students. - No-shows forfeit the class fee. - If we cancel a class for any reason (low enrollment, weather, kiln issues), you'll receive a full refund or a transfer to a future date. Safety & Studio Conduct - Closed-toe shoes are required. No sandals or open shoes. - Avoid loose sleeves or hanging jewelry. - You'll be handling sharp glass. Cuts are possible even with care. - We require eye protection for most aspects of this studio, we provide clean safety glasses, or you may bring your own. - Follow all instructor directions. We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving unsafely, unkindly, or inappropriately (at the discretion of the studio instructor) to leave without a refund.
